Loglined is a place to develop screenplays. Your writing is the whole point of the product, so here is exactly how it's handled — in plain language, because that's how we do everything.
Your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the name and profile picture Google shares. That's how your account exists. We never see or store a password — sign-in is handled by Google or by an emailed link.
Your writing. Projects, characters, beats, scripts — everything you create in Loglined is stored in your account so it can follow you between devices.
Basic technical data. Our host (Cloudflare) collects aggregate, anonymized analytics — page counts, not people. We don't run trackers of our own and there are no advertising cookies.
We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't read your work except where strictly necessary to run the service (debugging a sync problem, if you ask for help). Your scripts are yours — creatively and legally.
Your account data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and protected so that only your signed-in account can read it. While you're signed in, a working copy also lives in your browser's local storage; signing out removes it from that device.
Three services make Loglined run: Supabase (database and sign-in), Google (if you choose Google sign-in), and Cloudflare (hosting). Each receives only what's needed for its job.
You can download a complete copy of everything at any time — Settings → Your file. To delete your account and all of its data, email rahulsshah999@gmail.com and it will be done promptly; a self-serve delete button is on the roadmap.
